Bike hire in Dublin
DublinBikes is the docked scheme, 1,600 bikes across 115 stations inside the canal ring, and the one you can use without installing anything: buy a short-stay ticket at a station terminal with a credit card. Hire runs from 5am to 12:30am, though a bike can be returned at any hour. Riders must be 14 or older. Bleeper and MOBY are dockless and app-only, reach well beyond the canals, and are left at public bike racks rather than at docks. Tickets, passes and contactless are on the Dublin page.
Docked means the vehicle lives in a station and must go back to one. Dockless vehicles park on-street inside app-approved zones.
