Budapest Airport
Getting between Budapest Airport and Budapest, both directions. Pick your terminal below: what serves BUD differs by terminal.
Two buses leave the same kerb between Terminals 2A and 2B, and they are not interchangeable. The 100E Repülőtéri Expressz is a fare island of its own: it needs a airport vonaljegy costing 2 500 Ft. An ordinary vonaljegy, day ticket or pass will not get you on it. The 200E takes an ordinary 500 Ft vonaljegy instead.

Train 1
- Two fares
- You cannot board this from the terminal: reaching it is a paid transfer of its own, so the trip is two fares from 2A and 2B.
- Journey
- 200E autóbusz first, then MÁV Személyszállítási Zrt Train.
- How you pay
- Pay by paper ticket or Budapest card. MÁV's own train ticket (NOT one of the four declared Budapest mediums - a separate national-rail fare product) - bought ONLY at the Ferihegy platform vending machines, 24h, cash or bank card; NOT sold anywhere at the airport terminal.
- Worth knowing
- MÁV's own national-rail fare applies here — this is not a BKK fare product.
Reachable from this terminal, but the transfer is a paid leg.
