Bike & e-scooter hire in Lisbon
Gira is the city's own docked bike scheme, and its Day Pass is the tier a visitor can actually use: the first 45 minutes of a ride are free, and it takes PayPal or a credit card only. The cheaper Gira Navegante tier, and the free scooter minutes Bird gives Navegante holders, both turn on a Lisbon tax address, so holding the pass is not enough on its own. Every scheme unlocks in its own app; a navegante card opens nothing. Tickets, passes and contactless are on the Lisbon page.
Docked means the vehicle lives in a station and must go back to one. Dockless vehicles park on-street inside app-approved zones.
