Getting between Prague Airport and Prague, both directions. Pick your terminal below: what serves PRG differs by terminal.
The Airport Express sits outside the city fare system. It charges its own 200 Kč fare, and a Litačka card, an app ticket or an SMS ticket will not get you on board. Into the city it boards at Terminal 1 only, so from Terminal 2 walk over to Terminal 1. Pay the driver in cash or by card, or buy the ticket at the DPP desk in your arrivals hall. The ordinary trolleybus 59 and buses 100 and 191 carry no airport supplement and cost the same as any other city journey. Buy and stamp the ticket before you board: the 59 is often too crowded to reach the card machine. Older guides call it the 119. For a car, the official Uber Airport service shows you the price before you confirm, that price may not exceed the taxi maximum, and its cars wait right outside the arrivals halls. A taxi to the centre at the regulated tariff is around 800 Kč, though a price agreed in advance through an app is not held to that tariff. Other taxis, and Bolt and Liftago cars, pick you up at the express car parks, P1 EXPRESS, P2 EXPRESS and PB EXPRESS, and the airport does not vouch for their prices. Inside the terminal, people wearing official-looking 'taxi dispatcher' signs have led visitors to a car in the car park and charged several times that fare. Do not go with anyone who approaches you: use the Uber Airport desk or kiosk, or book in an app before you walk out.
